Jet Engine Bonus Photos
We created the jet engine for a thermodynamics class my first semester at CU. I was in charge of designing and building the combustion chamber and the nozzle. I also took on the ignition system, but only because I already had a spare sparker from a grill. That first image is me testing how far apart we could get the leads before it wouldn't spark, and also how to spark it without the piezo. A bonus in this first shot is in the background, that little blue waterproof case is t

Name Plates
I took an aesthetics of design course in my senior year of my studies at CU Boulder. I figured it was a good way to cap off my engineering degree and round the corner to something relevant from my first degree. On the first day we were given the assignment of making a name plate to put in front of us on the table. The task was to make the name plate communicate something about who you are, using only the aesthetics of its design to express that message. Well, I wasn't going t

Star Wars Bass Amp Conceptualizing
A few of the early design concepts for the pair of amps. Droids were very much the inspirations for these designs.

Star Wars Bass Amp Pair
Initial design considerations for a pair of combo bass amps that I rebuilt to fit the aesthetic of Star Wars.
