Halloween Theme Month #6

And now we are halfway through our first theme month.

If I asked you what theme this tie represented, I don't think either side would prevent you from getting the right answer. The stripes side may get a couple additional guesses, but the jack-o-lantern and bats side is pretty on the nose.

I adore these Jack-O-Lanterns. They are just so happy! Nothing mischievous either, just pumpkin faces enjoying their company, which includes fun little bats.

The stripes side of this tie again had me considering running one end horizontally and the other vertically, but I landed on vertical this time. I don't know what my count is of stripes that run one way or the other. Maybe vertical will win? I think I prefer vertical. It would be interesting to see if that actually plays out in the data, which is why I am happy that I've been blogging this project. It looks like, to run this metric, I will have to go back and update the tags on my posts, as "Stripes" is new as of this post.

There are quite a few fabrics this month that have a vintage aesthetic to them, which I am excited about.

The next tie is pretty good. I won't say much about it, but it's giving strong Hayao Miyazaki and Gideon's Bakehouse vibes. I also have more fun Jack-O-Lanterns to come.

I wore the sides of this tie on the 16th and 20th of October.
