Halloween Theme Month #1

That's right. You heard me. Theme month. Not theme week. Not theme day (though most ties are also a theme day). A. Whole. Month. Of. Theme.

This is how we are going to end our year. Three months of month-long themes.

And we are off to a basic but reasonable start. Pumpkins with dark roses, and dark roses on orange, because orange is a Halloween color, scientifically speaking.

If I'm being honest, there will be very few reasons for me to wear the first side, or really either side of this tie, outside of the context of October. That may be true about a lot of the ties I make this month, but I could see wearing some of them to new Ghostbuster movie premiers and to harvest festivals, an event to which I suppose this tie could also be worn.

If the black side of this were not black I could see wearing it more often. It would even look like a blueberry fabric I had planned to make a tie from. I just don't wear many black bowties. Which is going to be a funny thing to have said after a few of the upcoming ties.

I wore the sides of this tie on the 1st and 2nd of October.
