Bowtie #66

These were discount bin fabrics, and while I am happy I saved money, I am disappointed with how they turned out. I guess I really like the idea of needlepoint patterns on fabric, these two just don't really serve a bowtie well.

The first side here looks like a bunch of three's when you zoom out and see them on camera. It also comes off more as pixels on an old handheld gaming display than stitched crosses or "x".

The lettered side is really where my hope was invested, and I will say that it doesn't look outright bad, it just doesn't live up to its potential. Maybe if I had slowed down and been more precise and intentional with picking the featured part of the fabric.

I don't know, it just comes off more like something in the background of a Beverly Hillbillies set than something grandma made. It would hang in a Potbelly sandwich shop, if they were the sort to hang disappointing bowties.

I wore the sides of this bowtie on the 20th and 21st of August.
