Bowtie #50

Rounding out the end of the first theme week (though the theme will carry into next week, since I have one more tie ready and this just so happens to be a short week due to the very same holiday on which this theme is based.
This side here looks like parade or festival bunting for a small town, like the one in Schmigadoon (which I haven't seen) or Rutherford Falls (which I started to watch but had to drop when I dropped Peacock, which was only because I dropped Comcast, which led to cake and fried chicken to celebrate).
If you recall from the purple and blue print a few ties back, I did not orient it so I could tie it two different ways. One reason I might do that, especially with a tie print like this one, is that the little diamond corner that peeks out the back of the tie would continue the print that appears on the front. For this tie, that may actually be easy to "get away with" if people aren't paying too close attention to it, but it might also be a bit distracting if it is noticed.
Now for the inception American flag bowtie. It's a bowtie of American flag bowties. Just the absolute best. I would love to continue making bowties of bowtie prints.
I do have a bowtie I made way back when that has a mustache print on it. It was tough getting it just right, but when I tie it correctly, you see a white bowtie with a large mustache perfectly centered, about the same size as my actual bowtie (though in two styles that aren't exactly the same), That would be a concept worth revisiting.
Also, THE BIG 50!!!!!!!!! I think this means I will hit at least 100 ties before the end of the year, though I have had very little time off and need to start burning some PTO before I lose it.
I wore the iterations of this bowtie on the 1st and 2nd of July. .
