Bowtie #22

This is a classic style for me. When I worked at the cheese shop in Longmont I wore nearly daily a bowtie with an expressive floral pattern. This has a painted quality to it when viewed in-person. I like, too, that it doesn't look like one of Cam's shirts from Modern Family.

The baroque look of the filigree on the opposite side of this tie is really special. If you catch it from the corner of your eye it even looks like it's actually a 3D relief on the bowtie.

As a side note here, while I am thinking about it, I never venture outside of wearing bowties made from fabric. I don't wear ties with LEGO studs on them, or metal accents attached to their tips, or beads or studs or jewels dotting their surface. I don't wear ties made from wood cut to articulate like fabric. I'm somewhat unsure of why, as I'm not a purist, I just don't particularly like those types of ties. Maybe I am more of a purist than I give myself credit for, even if I am wearing cotton ties.

My records here get a little wonky. I think I wore these on the 1st and 2nd of April, but I may have worn the first side on a trip to Minnesota, which would have placed it on the 8th or 9th of April
