Bowtie #19

Speaking of "bowties you can get at a Dillard's" we have an entry into the category with this pink tie that has blue pin stripes. I guess I figured it was just different enough color pairing. Pin stripes aren't even a classic bowtie design in my opinion, but here we are.

Now, speaking of the previous post with the apples on one side and the generic plants on the other, I think this thistle would have been an obvious pairing for that tie if I hadn't used the apples. The trouble is that the thistle would still be the star of the show.

Maybe I should have put the thistle with the apples and in turn put these stripes with the general plants of the previous tie. I think I went this direction with it so I would have at least one side of each tie that I like and want to wear, reducing the chance that I could end the year with ties I don't want to keep or wear after this project.

I wore these sides on March 19th and 24th..
