The first side of this bowtie is fun enough. For my criteria, it probably fit more in the category of "Not already available as a bowtie at Macy's" than it did in the "this fabric is a whole lot of fun" category. I mean, it is fun, but I think it doesn't spark joy, to borrow that term.
Now, the other side of this is a whole lot of fun. Reminds me of toile. There was another colorway of this print but I really like the red apples and purple leaves. I think the other one had green apples. I don't know if I like this pairing of these sides, though I don't know what I would have paired the apple side with and the alternate pairing for the first side is a little too on-the-nose. I have the alternate pairing coming up in a future post.
I wore these sides on March 16th and 18th..
