Bowtie #16

Not much to say about the dots side of this tie. Polka dots are a classic bowtie design and not something that excites me too much, but I do feel like I need some variety of it in my collection. In the next few months I will have a run of blue and red ties with polka dots in two different scales.

All that being said, this is one of the more interesting polka dot prints I've made a tie from.

Now, the back of this tie, or the bunny side, is a whole mess of fun.

The colors chosen for this print are exceptional, and they have the feel of being neon without losing that classical style. It's like a tint-shifted baroque wallpaper. This fabric designer has other fun prints like this, or that use fun color combinations with bright and bold colors. This is a tie that doesn't hesitate to say something. I almost get the sense that this is a mystical, magical, and/or enchanted bunny rabbit.

There is so much fun going on in this fabric that it was nearly impossible to pick what I wanted to feature on each end. I ran with one of the better flora on one end and a smug bunny on the other, though I think the bunny's nose gets caught up in the knot when the tie is tied.

I wore these sides on March 4th and 5th..
