Bowtie #12

You'll see more and more floral patterns here. I don't know what the actual statistics are, but "floral" is probably the largest category of fabric prints in my bowtie collection.
This print reminds me, for whatever reason, of food packaging. But not just any old food packaging, it makes me think of a tray you'd eat food from on an airplane or train. I can't explain why.
It also seems like a print you'd see on public carpet or the upholstery on transit seats, so maybe that's why it makes me think of food. If you look at it out of the corner of your eye it looks like a mix of rice, carrots, corn, and peas.
I love love love this lemon print. The inversion of the yellow to the field and the lemons being white is the only reason I was okay with making a tie from this, because I avoid ties that are mostly white (they get dirty very quickly).
Maybe the second largest category, or one that I hope grows quicker than it has in the past, is food-related prints. And not always donuts or cereal, but I do want more with donuts or cereal.
I wore these sides on February 16th and 17th.
