Here we have a somewhat milquetoast pattern. A floral grid, the kind you may see on the tiles in the studio apartment of a private eye in a noir film. For that matter, it could be the tie the private eye is wearing. Or their suit fabric. Though, that might make it less milquetoast.

Don't adjust your sets, folks, there is nothing wrong with your picture. The reverse of this bowtie is the same fabric in nearly the same colors. I know enough about color theory to know that I may have no idea which blue is different from the blues on the other side.

Now that I am typing this out, the question harkens back to that dress that became famous online because no one could agree if it was a white and gold dress or a blue and black dress. Trust me, this is blue on blue.

I wore the lighter side of this tie on the 26th of June, but I have yet to wear the dark side. .
